Our editorial desk

Selat Riset is a small editorial desk writing about the retail trading platforms marketed to readers in Indonesia. The site stands on its own: we are not part of Pocket Option, not its representative, and not an official agent. What we do is simple but demands care — we read what the operator publishes, we read what the regulators publish, and we explain the distance between the two in language a reader can act on.

What we do

Every page here is built around a question people genuinely type into a search box: how to sign in, how to get money out, whether the app is genuine, whether the platform is supervised in Indonesia. We answer with concrete steps where steps exist, and with an honest explanation where the answer is "this cannot be established from the outside".

• We explain mechanics: how a process runs, what to prepare, where it usually stalls.
• We keep three things apart that are usually blurred together: product risk, operator risk, and user error.
• We name drawbacks plainly, as briefly as the point requires, without piling on.

What we do not do

We hold no account on the platforms we cover and we run no hands-on tests. No sentence on this site should be read as "we tried it, and here is what happened". For the same reason we publish no figure that an official source does not publish: no minimum deposit amount, no payout percentage stated as certain, no promised withdrawal time in hours or days.

We also do not issue verdicts. We do not call a platform "safe" or "trustworthy", and we do not call it a "scam". Both are conclusions that cannot be sustained from the outside. What we can offer is evidence you are able to check yourself, plus an explanation of why some questions genuinely have no settled answer.

No page on this site contains advice for getting around geographic or identity restrictions. This site is also not financial, tax or legal advice.

Who is responsible

The desk is led by Rangga Prasetyo, markets and brokers editor, who is responsible for the content and for corrections. Every article carrying facts that can move states the date on which the operator's public pages were checked, because terms, payment methods and fees in this sector do change without notice.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, send it to us through the contact page with a link to the page and, where possible, a link to the official source showing the correct figure or term. Factual corrections are made and the update date moves with them. We do not accept requests to remove risk explanations or to turn neutral wording into promotional wording.

Risk

Fixed-time options are high-risk, short-horizon speculation. Capital can be lost in full and quickly, and most retail accounts in this product category lose money. Read the risk material on this site before anything that explains how to start.
